DESCRIPTION

Maintenance Contracts Ltd were asked to install an anti-slip profile on the movable checker plate dock levellers. The system comprises of primarily vacuum shot blasting the metal to sa 2.5 (an in-house operation). Apply one coat of Grip-Seal High Build Epoxy Resin then broadcast a silicone carbide aggregate to create the anti-slip profile. (as light or as heavy as required by the customer). Finally a second coat of Grip-Seal to encapsulate the aggregate and provide an extremely durable anti-slip system.

COMMENTS

On completion of the job, the site contact expressed his extreme satisfaction with both the system and the competence of the Maintenance Contracts operatives. Now the forklift operatives have confidence and reassurance of the enhanced control travelling in and out of the trailers.
