What they needed
Bendalow Vets, in Swinton Manchester suffered a gradual decline in their flooring system over the years. The tiling had become chipped, damaged and broken and started to be a health and safety issue. However, the vet practice was open 6 days a week, meaning that most flooring contractors would not be able to make repairs without needing to close the practice. Maintenance Contracts agreed to repair the flooring on a Sunday, without having to close the practice.
What we did
We stripped the floor tiles with a heavy duty tile remover and then diamond ground the concrete to get down to a clean surface. A multi-layered MMA Resin and flake system was installed. Each resin layer cured in 40 minutes enabling the 6 rooms to be all completed within one day and the vets opened as usual on the Monday morning.
