A factory requires flooring that can withstand everything from chemicals, to forklift traffic and heavy machinery use. Understanding the unique requirements of a factory helps to determine the type of flooring that will be needed.

Sometimes, a rapid pumped screed might be used to ensure a strong, versatile and level flooring solution. Screeds can be installed quickly to minimise factory downtime and can also be laid upon various other flooring solutions, which often proves to be a cost effective solution.

Often, we also recommend an epoxy resin floor coating be laid on top of a screed to provide chemical resistance, surface protection and help to maintain a dust free and hygienic environment.

The seamless design of a wall to floor resin floor means that they are easy to clean, therefore the ideal choice for maintaining high standards of hygiene. They also provide excellent resistance to chemicals, heavy foot traffic, machinery – offering an extremely durable solution. An anti-slip coating can be added to resin floors to improve upon safety measures that are being taken. As our epoxy floors can be cured quickly and we aim to operate in a way that is non-disruptive, downtime can be kept to a minimum.

Pumped screeds are ideal for quickly levelling floors – this is often an essential element of factory flooring. Screeds can be laid upon a range of surfaces, including concrete floors. They can be quickly laid over large areas and therefore are ideal for minimising disruption to operations. Also offering an extremely durable and hard wearing surface, they are ideal for industrial environments.

Polyurethane flooring is an option that is ideal for factories that operate under harsher environments. They have a high degree of chemical resistance and are great if there is heat used. Polyurethane is an ideal solution for factories that produce food thanks as they are also easy to keep clean. These floors can be customisable in terms of colour and finish and suit a wide range of factory settings.

We also specialise in outdoor flooring – this is ideal for public areas and outdoor work areas. This provides an ideal surface for areas of high traffic, where a robust flooring solution is needed.

Line marking can be used to mark out safety lines such as pathways and traffic directions. You’re not limited to only lines with line markings, many people choose to paint safety symbols and also designate areas for the safe storage of factory goods.
